Julie Broadwell, owner & momma has always known two things: serving coffee and taking care of children.  As a longtime former nanny and 14-year veteran barista with several continuing coffee-service education workshops under her belt, Julie saw that there are very few places in the area where a mom, dad or caregiver can take their children and be able to enjoy a full conversation (much less a cup of Joe) and not worry about their children’s entertainment. 

At Kidz-n-Coffee, adults don’t need to be concerned about their kids using “inside voices” or being patient, yet it’s not so kids-centric that a parent feels like they are in a madhouse.  Julie wanted to create a safe & fun place where kids have an opportunity to socialize with other kids as well as enjoy healthy foods & beverages while their parents have their own chance to get a much deserved breather.   

You’ll find the layout of the café allows an equal environment for both worlds, with a safety partition and dedicated Kidz Zone attendant.  And it’s not just about the play and the coffee.  Kidz-n-Coffee offers a lite menu with healthy and delicious options for kids and adults alike.  Supplied by fresh and high-quality Caffé Appassionato beans, Kidz-n-Coffee baristas are well trained in serving up your favorite café  beverages.
